Oniruko

A female pirate and slicer known as Oniruko existed on Tatooine during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, Oniruko became a member of a pirate gang that was under the leadership of Eyan McDermitt. During 1 ABY, the gang successfully hijacked a courier vessel that belonged to the Incom Corporation. Although the pirates were primarily interested in general cargo, they also made off with an encrypted datapad containing extremely confidential information. Oniruko's attempt to slice the datapad resulted in her being severely shocked by the device's security measures, leading to convulsions and foaming at the mouth. Sadly, her fellow pirates were unable to transport her to a medical facility quickly enough to save her life. Because he was unsuccessful in extracting the data himself, Eyan McDermitt later decided to sell the datapad to an Imperial commando by the name of Jubai Laetlii. Ultimately, the datapad was recovered by a spy who was employed by Sarlis Beni and subsequently returned to the Incom Corporation.
