Along the canals of the Old Patch, floatboats are a common sight. The Old Patch was a specific area situated in the southeastern section of Abregado-rae Spaceport, which itself was found on the planet called Abregado-rae.
The Old Patch was characterized by a network of canals, all supplied with water from the Spaceport Gusher. Its name stemmed from the fact that its structures were significantly more aged than those found within the newer spaceport area. It was typical to see Floatboats transporting both people and goods through these waterways. Those on foot were limited to traversing the district via sidewalks and bridges. Individuals such as Smugglers, local opponents of the Tundei Tribunal, and other individuals operating outside the law gathered in the Old Patch's peripheral areas, in places such as the LoBue Cantina.
