During the Thrawn campaign that took place in 9 ABY, subsequent to the attack on Ord Mantell, the Galactic Empire held the planet of Myomar for a short time.
While Myomar was occupied, Imperial troops led by Grand Admiral Thrawn faced resistance from Myomaran insurgents who utilized Bith-manufactured explosives.
Drend Navett was on Myomar during this period of occupation. He acquired one of the Bith-made grenades from the grasp of a deceased Myomaran resistance member. Navett retained this grenade and utilized it a decade afterward, during the Caamas Document Crisis in 19 ABY.
