Nyrat Agira

Agirat, whose real name was Nyrat Agira, was a Human female with a penchant for clubbing and an affiliation with the Zealots of Psusan cult. This fashion-conscious cult follower often frequented the Outlander Club on the planet of Coruscant with her companions Wilst Molan and Di Mantid, all in search of a wealthy and influential partner. In the year 22 BBY, she found herself at the Outlander Club alongside her friends Immi Danoo and Rosha Vess, coinciding with the presence of bounty hunters Jango Fett and Zam Wesell.

Not long after that initial encounter, she returned to the club, engaging in a silent competition with her acquaintances to see who was the best dressed. During this visit, the bounty hunter Kalyn Farnmir approached her, seeking information about the Zealots' High Priest, Scri Oscuro. Agira, easily cowed by Farnmir, disclosed that Oscuro was indeed on Coruscant and had dealings with Farnmir's associate, Cian Shee. Later that evening, while Wesell was concealing herself within the establishment, Agira socialized with Danoo, Vess, and a human, sharing drinks and conversation. She and her companions then observed as Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi neutralized Wesell and took her into custody. After the Jedi's departure, she turned her attention to identifying a vulnerable individual suitable for conversion to the cult.

Biography

A trendy cultist

Agira in the Outlander Club.

The female Human known as Nyrat Agira, or Agirat, was a stylish individual who frequented nightclubs. Her allegiance lay with the Zealots of Psusan, a rapidly expanding cult focused on female empowerment. Agira maintained a keen awareness of current trends, which evolved rapidly on Coruscant, a planet known for its dynamic fashion scene, and she was particularly noted for her elaborate hairstyles. Agira, along with her friends Wilst Molan and Di Mantid, regularly visited the Outlander Club, a popular spot in Coruscant's Uscru Entertainment District. Their primary objective in visiting the club was to find a wealthy and influential life partner.

Time in the Outlander Club

During 22 BBY, Agira's presence at the club coincided with that of bounty hunters Jango Fett and Zam Wesell. She was in the company of her friends Immi Danoo and Rosha Vess. Later that night of the same year, Agira returned to the Outlander Club. Other patrons, including Molan and Mantid, attempted to outdo Agira's fashion choices, but they were not serious competition.

While at the club, Kalyn Farnmir, a bounty hunter, approached her. Farnmir recognized the cult tattoo on Agira's abdomen as a symbol of the Zealots of Psusan. Cian Shee, Farnmir's partner, had betrayed Farnmir to Scri Oscuro, the corrupt High Priest of the Zealots of Psusan. Farnmir easily intimidated and questioned the young woman about the priest and her tattoo. Agira admitted that Oscuro was on Coruscant and had conducted business with Shee. The information Agira revealed confirmed Farnmir's suspicions.

Agira was with her friends at the Outlander Club.

Later that night, Agira stood near the club's bar, socializing and drinking with Danoo, Vess, and a Human just as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, both Jedi, entered the club seeking the bounty hunter Zam Wesell. Agira and her friends briefly turned their attention to Kenobi, staring as he severed Wesell's arm during her attempted ambush. Skywalker instructed the clubgoers to resume their activities, and the Jedi departed with Wesell. As the Jedi interrogated Wesell outside, she identified a vulnerable individual to convert to the cult and moved away from the bar with them.

Personality and traits

Nyrat Agira wore a sollops hairstyle.

Agira embodied the typical characteristics of the Coruscant club scene. She was somewhat superficial and easily intimidated during her interrogation by Kalyn Farnmir. She maintained friendships with Immi Danoo and Rosha Vess, and acquaintances with Wilst Molan and Di Mantid. Although Agira, Molan, and Mantid appeared to be friends, they were fiercely competing for the unofficial title of "best-dressed Outlander patron," a title Agira often secured. She favored minimalist clothing and adorned herself with superficial elements designed to attract a potential partner, like others of her age, or a potential mark.

Agira was a slender and attractive woman. She had pale skin, surgically enhanced blue eyes, and auburn hair styled in the fashionable, towering sollops hairstyle. The trusses of hair rose up from the back of her head like serpents. Agira displayed a visible tattoo of the Zealots of Psusan's symbol on her abdomen, indicating her spiritual commitment.

Skills and abilities

Agira possessed the ability to stay current with the ever-changing fashion trends on Coruscant.

Equipment

During her visits to the Outlander Club, Agira wore a stylishly impractical yet charismatic outfit consisting of a red top, red leggings made from soluble zoosha fabric, and a pair of red heels.

Behind the scenes

Creation and filming

Nyrat Agira was conceived for the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, which premiered on May 16, 2002. The Outlander Club scenes featuring Agira, played by an uncredited extra, were filmed at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000. In the Expanded Universe

Before the film's release, the character was first depicted in the documentary "A Twinkle Beyond Pluto," which was released on July 31, 2001 and identified in the StarWars.com article "Making Up is Hard to Do: Lesley Vanderwalt", published on February 15, 2002. The character then made her first appearance in the young readers book Jango Fett: Bounty Hunter, written by Eric Arnold, illustrated by Valerie Reckert, and released on April 23, 2002. The image of her in the book was taken from the then upcoming film.

In The Official Star Wars Fact File 96 and Star Wars: Complete Locations, her name is incorrectly given as Agira Nyrat. In the 2004 article "Who's Who in the Outlander Club: It's Ladies' Night," featured in the seventy-fifth issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine, author Daniel Wallace describes Agira and her friends as the "intergalactic embodiment of the Valley Girl stereotype." In 2005, Benjamin Christopher Norton Dawe expanded on Kalyn Farnmir's backstory, which included Agira, through the StarWars.com Hyperspace feature. In 2007, Dawe shared the original draft of the story via Star Wars: Blogs. The original draft included Farnmir pressing her blaster against Agira's stomach and Agira identifying Cian Shee.
