She was the sibling of Loro Ecls, the manager of Gelgelar Free Port. While she held allegiance to the Alliance to Restore the Republic, her brother's sentiments were not aligned with hers, or perhaps he simply chose to conceal them.
Ecls received a summons from Arik Stijhl to Drop Point: Gelgelar, requesting her assistance in revitalizing The Maker and bringing it back to operational status.
