Nediji

The Nediji were avian-like sentient beings originating from the species classification, recognizable by their short, horny beaks and bodies covered with soft, light blue plumage. Reaching a height of approximately 1.5 meters, they possessed lightweight, hollow skeletons and exceptional visual acuity, capable of perceiving a wide spectrum of light, including infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths, as well as having the ability to scan vertically and horizontally concurrently. Their native world was the remote planet of Nedij, where they traditionally hunted the rath-scurrier found on the slopes of the hills. They also hunted a humanoid species indigenous to Nedij. The Nediji were known for their incredible speed, apparent skill in camouflage, and a distinct, agreeable scent they emitted. They were masters of precision attacks. Rarely did any Nediji venture beyond their home planet unless they had abandoned their nest's community, leading to minimal interaction with the broader galaxy. Their societal structure was referred to as the Flock. Their deity was the Cosmic Egg. The planet was a secluded one, situated on the eastern fringe of the galaxy. During the Clone Wars period, Black Sun, a criminal syndicate, utilized a Nediji agent named Kaird.
