The Naboo Royal Lifter served as a troop carrier spacecraft, utilized by the Royal Naboo Security Forces.
This Naboo Royal Lifter, a type of unarmed starship, was designed to transport both soldiers and droid laborers around the combat zone. Its front section was made of chromium, while the rest of the craft was colored in a yellow hue. The primary structure resembled a teardrop in form and was equipped with a pair of short, stubby wings. These lifters were manufactured at Royal Security Force airfields. The Royal Lifter could accommodate a total of five soldiers, even if they were mounted.
Sometime between the years of 39 and 36 BBY, a Royal Lifter was used to ferry Qui-Gon Jinn to Alaris Prime during the Battle for Alaris Prime.
The Naboo Royal Lifter made an appearance in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. Specifically, in the tutorial's concluding mission, a lone Royal Lifter is positioned at the map's edge, awaiting the player's construction of a Jedi Temple. Upon completion, it delivers Jinn to participate in the ongoing conflict. This writing assumes the player completed this action. Royal Lifters functioned as the Naboo civilization's designated "air transport" unit, requiring an investment of 29 food units and 138 carbon units. This campaign was subsequently integrated into the 2002 expansion pack. An image of the lifter is featured as the visual representation of the "air transport" unit within Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Prima's Official Strategy Guide.
