Nable

Nable, a youngling of the Jedi Order, managed to survive the horrors of Order 66 alongside K'Kruhk and Chase Piru.

Biography

Clone Wars

Belonging to the Soaring Hawkbat Clan, Nable was a youngling stationed at the Jedi chapter house located on Bogden 3. The battle occurring on Coruscant had delayed their return transport to the Jedi Temple. The arrival of Masters K'Kruhk and Sian Jeisel with their accompanying clone troopers coincided with the issuing of Order 66. During the ensuing chaos, many younglings were killed, despite the efforts of Du Mahn to protect them. Ultimately, K'Kruhk and Chase Piru succeeded in escaping with nine younglings, their destination unknown. Two months later, the young Jedi was in hiding with the group, being taught by K'Kruhk.

Great Jedi Purge

The arrival of Lumbra and his men at the younglings' camp marked a turning point. Lumbra, noticing a needed part on the broken ship, moved to take it. Seddwia, another youngling, confronted him, asserting their ownership of the ship and demanding he leave it alone. Lumbra responded by grabbing Seddwia's arm and pulling her away, triggering a conflict. Piru intervened to protect her but was shot, with everyone believing him to be dead. Discovering the group were Jedi younglings, Lumbra had them chained and prepared to deliver them to the Empire.

K'Kruhk freed the younglings, momentarily succumbing to un-Jedi-like behavior. With Chase Piru's assistance, he used arrows to take down Lumbra's men. K'Kruhk's lightsaber became the instrument of death for both Lumbra and his shipmate, Callow.

Arkinnea

Following a crash landing on the planet Arkinnea, Nable and the other Jedi were apprehended by the Arkinnea Militia. They were then placed in a refugee camp along with the rest of their group. It was in this refugee camp that Master Zao located them. After eating dinner, Nable joined the other younglings for their daily lesson from Zao.

Nable picking beelpop melons on Arkinnea

Under the cloak of darkness, Nable, the other Jedi, and younglings escaped the refugee camp and ventured into the Arkinnean countryside. He and the other younglings foraged in fields, gathering Beelpop melons and other vegetables. As they continued their journey, Nable napped in the back of the repulsorcart with the other children. Upon reaching a hill, Nable joined the other younglings in a race against Piru to reach the summit. Reaching the top, he was horrified to find a mass grave where the Arkinnea Militia had been disposing of refugees. He covered his eyes in terror as an ore carrier flew overhead and dropped another load of refugees into the valley. When K'Kruhk realized they had been spotted, he used the Force to propel Nable and the others back into the cart. The vehicle careened down the hill before colliding with a tree, ejecting Nable and the others.

After recovering from the crash, Nable and the rest of the younglings followed Zao further into the forest. They hid when they heard blaster fire. Nable was present when the Yunu discovered the Jedi group. The Arkinnea Militia soon caught up with them, holding them at gunpoint. As the militia opened fire, Zao used the Force to raise a boulder from the ground, providing them with cover. Nable fled with Piru and the other younglings but returned when the blaster fire ceased. Following the battle, Nable and the rest of the clan followed the Yunu deeper into the forest. He inquired of Zao about their destination. He greeted K'Kruhk when he rejoined the group. Nable settled into his new home and continued his Jedi training. He accompanied Piru to meet Commander Teron to collect the yearly supplies arranged by the Imperial officer. After a five-day wait, they returned to the outpost empty-handed.
