Concurrently, he acted as an informant for the Cularin Militia, supplying them with intelligence concerning these very systems. Upon the Thaereian forces' complete retreat from Cularin to Soboll, Tyeb sought refuge within his residence. The Heroes of Cularin, acting on behalf of the Militia, sought him out, requesting any details he possessed regarding the whereabouts of the Thaereian commander in Soboll, namely Kurth San, with the intention of capturing him. Tyeb revealed that San was located in his command center, which was under heavy guard. Nevertheless, given Tyeb's role in developing the security systems there, he proposed creating vulnerabilities that would allow the heroes to enter the base without being detected.
