Mod Terrik was a male Human officer in the Imperial army, specifically within the Desert Sands sandtrooper unit. Terrik, a male of unwavering courage and intense motivation, readily authorized the sacrifice of any number of his soldiers to accomplish his set goals. Terrik was a tactical genius, infamous for causing the deaths of countless rebel soldiers.
Terrik's assignment to Tatooine involved locating the missing droids C-3PO and R2-D2; at this time, he held the rank of captain and led the Desert Sands Zeta Squadron. He commanded and oversaw assaults on a Jawa sandcrawler. Following the trail left by the sandcrawler, they soon arrived at the Lars homestead. His troopers apprehended Owen Lars and Beru Whitesun Lars, and Darth Vader personally gave the order for their execution. This order was carried out, and the troops departed not long before Luke Skywalker reached the Lars homestead.
Later on, Garindan, an Imperial informant, contacted Terrik after tracking C-3PO and R2-D2 to Docking Bay 94. Terrik and his squad arrived at Docking Bay 94 and engaged Han Solo outside the Millennium Falcon, but they failed to stop his escape with his passengers. In the middle of the firefight, Davin Felth, one of Terrik's own troopers, shot him in the back, resulting in his killed.
