The mission known as the Mission to Bazarre saw Lando Calrissian, Luke Skywalker, and Chewbacca embark on a quest to acquire four TIE/LN starfighters for the benefit of the Rebel Alliance.
Skywalker, Calrissian, accompanied by Chewbacca, made their way to Bazarre, a trading post and space station, to rendezvous with Orion Ferret, the station's administrator. However, Calrissian harbored suspicions about Ferret due to their past interactions. Upon their arrival, a group of merchants, mistaking Skywalker and Calrissian for commodities, confronted them. This misunderstanding was resolved upon Ferret's arrival. He revealed that he had managed to gather enough components from damaged Imperial vessels to reconstruct four TIE fighters. To ensure their safety, he had stored the spacecraft on the garbage planet Patch-4. Ferret extended an offer to Calrissian and Skywalker to utilize his own private shuttle, pre-programmed with the coordinates for Patch-4. Distrusting Ferret's intentions, Chewbacca remained behind to prevent the administrator from double-crossing them.
Shortly after their arrival on Patch-4, Skywalker noticed the TIE fighters. As Calrissian and he approached the fighters, they were ambushed by a large creature that appeared to be invulnerable to their weaponry. Forced to retreat into nearby caves, Skywalker and Calrissian stumbled upon a community of vagrants who had taken refuge there. One of the inhabitants, Serja Kesselrook, informed the two Rebels that the creature was being controlled by a sonic pacifier located on the ship they had been provided with, indicating that Ferret had been manipulating the creature and had betrayed them. Returning to confront the beast, Calrissian created a diversion by firing his blaster, while Skywalker boarded the ship and utilized the sonic pacifier to subdue the beast. Subsequently, they secured the fighters, returned to retrieve the Falcon and Chewbacca, and proceeded back to Arbra.
