'A PLANET ON THE VERGE OF EXTINCTION.'
A MISSION OF UTMOST URGENCY.
'AND A FOREBODING PREDICTION SPELLING DOOM FOR THE REBEL ALLIANCE.'
The conflict against the sinister Empire persists, with the brave individuals, both human and alien, of the Rebel Alliance relentlessly striving to dismantle the age of oppression. However, an enigmatic figure arrives at the Rebel stronghold situated atop Mount Yoda, bearing grave tidings.
Kadann, the Dark Side's foremost Prophet, is scheming to seize and obliterate the carbon-frozen form of Trioculus, thereby assuming control of the Empire. Concurrently, the Rebel Alliance is in a race against time to rescue the archaeologists of the doomed planet Duro, only to unearth an astounding enigma within the subterranean tunnels, a secret contingent upon a treacherous… Mission from Mount Yoda.
With Trioculus encased in carbonite, the Dark Side Prophets convene in Kadann's Chamber of Dark Visions to receive his latest prophecy concerning the Empire's leadership. Kadann delivered his prophecy in rhyming verses, foretelling that Trioculus would be forever denied the privilege of leadership, that the next leader resides on Duro, and ultimately, the demise of the Rebel Alliance. While the Moffs devise a strategy to recover Trioculus' physical form (and the Prophets plot its annihilation), Luke, Leia, and Han journey to Dagobah. The rebels initiated the colonization of Dagobah by establishing a school, intended for Ken's enrollment, and a fortified base serving as the Defense Research and Planetary Assistance Center, or DRAPAC. DRAPAC was situated on Mount Yoda, and it was the focal point of Kadann's prophetic vision.
During their stay, a Duros named Dustini conveys the information that Duro is under siege by Imperial stormtroopers who are pilfering artifacts. Although he succeeded in salvaging some items, one of them, a golden crown, was rigged with a trap, resulting in Dustini being stabbed, seemingly fulfilling the prophecy. As the Rebels dispatch a mission to Duro with the aim of thwarting the Empire's actions, the Prophets proceed to destroy the carbonite block, failing to realize that it was a decoy and that Trioculus remained alive. Within a concealed cavern on Duro, Luke, Han, and Ken finally come face to face with Triclops, the legitimate offspring of Emperor Palpatine. Despite the Imperials' assault in an attempt to kidnap Triclops, the rebels, with his assistance, managed to escape and transport Triclops to DRAPAC, where he pledged to dismantle his father's Empire.
