The initial appearance of Mi'no Teest was in the 2015 cinematic release of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. In the film, his character was brought to life by an uncredited background performer. His designation was initially brought to light in the video game LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Even though the game is considered non-canon, Pablo Hidalgo has verified that the names assigned to formerly nameless background figures are indeed official. Daran Holliman was the actor who played him in the film.
