Maikel Das, a German national, works as a writer, artist, editor, and publisher. He also frequently contributes to the Official German Star Wars Fan Club magazine. From 1994 until 2000, he provided illustrations and reports for the American fanzine Blue Harvest (Zine).
Das served as the basis for the illustrations of Ishin-Il-Raz that were featured in Star Wars Insider issues 66 and 84.
