Luxum was a Jedi Knight of the Shard species (specifically female), who learned the ways of the Force from Master Aqinos. After being found on the world of Dweem, Luxum, like the other members of the Iron Knights, became a member of the New Jedi Order. The Yuuzhan Vong War pushed Luxum dangerously close to the dark side of the Force due to the destruction that occurred at Hosk Station. She battled the technophobic Yuuzhan Vong with IG-179, a former bodyguard of General Grievous, as her primary subordinate, but ultimately met her end at their hands.
Abel G. Peña is the individual who conceived Luxum.
