The Galactic Civil War saw the freeing of the planet Vilosoria. The Vilosorian inhabitants successfully expelled the occupying Imperial forces from their world.
During the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel droid known as R2z-DL operated as a clandestine spy far behind enemy lines. His mission involved monitoring Imperial troop movements in the vicinity of the planet.
While traversing the Lifh sector, Rebel pilot Koedi Raef came across a concealed data packet within the memory systems of her BTL Y-wing starfighter. This data, originating from R2z-DL, also known as Toozy, held details about the Imperial presence both in the Lifh sector and information regarding the Vilosorian species along with their cyclical seasonal patterns.
Raef used this intelligence to orchestrate Vilosoria's liberation. She successfully orchestrated a delay of the Interdictor cruiser called Fireclaw, resulting in the Imperial garrison troops, lacking reinforcements, being defeated by the native Vilosorians. The Vilosorians, due to the arrival of the warmer seasons, had undergone a metamorphosis into formidable carnivorous beings.
Subsequently, Koedi Raef was recognized with the Rohal Cross for the successful freeing of the planet, however, the pilot refused the award and instead gave it to Toozy.
