Publisher's summary

The enthralling Star Wars saga advances into uncharted and captivating realms, ushering in a fresh period brimming with exhilarating escapades and startling disclosures.

As a burgeoning Galactic Alliance grapples with an escalating number of dissenting worlds, civil unrest threatens to erupt, fracturing the Skywalker and Solo families. Han and Leia journey back to Han's native Corellia, the epicenter of the resistance. Their offspring, Jacen and Jaina, serve as soldiers within the Galactic Alliance's ranks, striving to quell the burgeoning rebellion.

Jacen, having attained complete mastery over the Force, harbors his own strategies for restoring order to the galaxy. Under the tutelage of his Sith mentor, Lumiya, and accompanied by Luke's young son Ben, Jacen treads a path reminiscent of his grandfather Darth Vader's descent. While Han and Leia bear witness to their son's transformation into a stranger, a clandestine assassin ensnares them with a figure from Han's past: Boba Fett. Within this evolving galactic structure, the lines between friend and foe blur, challenging preconceived notions.
