Kyu Tane, a male of the Human species, held the position of Minister of Culture for Naboo during the invasion of Naboo. He and his spouse were taken into custody by Trade Federation forces; however, their daughter successfully fled and allied herself with the Naboo Underground. Ultimately, Tane, his wife, and a number of fellow captives were liberated by members of the Naboo Underground.
