Kjazhed-Uhl, a stormtrooper of the male persuasion and Human species, found himself serving under the command of Darth Vader within the ranks of the Galactic Empire. At some point falling between the years 0 ABY and 3 ABY, Kjazhed-Uhl crossed paths with a fellow stormtrooper named Bob during their allotted lunch break. It was during this encounter that Bob confessed to having pilfered the personal diary belonging to the Sith Lord himself, Darth Vader. After Bob's prodding, Kjazhed-Uhl consented to peruse the diary alongside him, ultimately gaining insights into Vader's innermost thoughts. By the time they had finished reading, Kjazhed-Uhl found himself feeling a sense of sympathy for Vader.
Kjazhed-Uhl, a male Human, chose to enlist as a stormtrooper in service to the Galactic Empire, and was acquainted with Bob, a fellow soldier. He had a sister who, sometime in the period between 0 ABY and 3 ABY, gave birth to a child of both male and female gender. Kjazhed-Uhl had scheduled a weekend trip back home to see his sister and the newborn. On a day preceding that weekend, Kjazhed-Uhl ran into Bob during a lunch break in the mess hall, where Bob inquired about his weekend plans. After Kjazhed-Uhl explained his intentions, Bob admitted to having stolen the diary belonging to the Sith Lord Darth Vader, with the intention of reading it. Kjazhed-Uhl scolded Bob for this action, believing that Vader would kill him if he were to discover the theft.
Bob asserted his ability to read the diary without detection, since Vader was away for the weekend. Kjazhed-Uhl ultimately gave in and joined Bob to read it. The first page contained a passage about Vader receiving a new helmet, prompting Bob to point out a misspelling of "nightmare" as "nitemare." Kjazhed-Uhl countered Bob's claim, arguing that it was simply an alternative spelling, similar to "nucular." The two stormtroopers exchanged glares before moving on to another section, where Vader had recorded his feelings about Luke Skywalker. Kjazhed-Uhl misread the name and questioned aloud who "Luke Skywalter" was, leading Bob to surmise that he was Vader's son based on the context.

Bob drew attention to several poorly executed drawings by Vader depicting violent acts, which Kjazhed-Uhl peered over to observe. He found the drawings strange, and Bob questioned whether he kept drawings in his own diary. Kjazhed-Uhl clarified that he kept a journal, not a diary. He then proposed that they skim through the diary to see if they were mentioned, and Bob skipped ahead to a section about stormtroopers. They stumbled upon a passage where Vader described an emotional breakdown related to his birthday being forgotten, along with a declaration that he would kill anyone who read it. Kjazhed-Uhl sarcastically remarked that it was fortunate that they had discovered that particular passage.
Bob expressed his surprise at learning that Vader had a birthday, and Kjazhed-Uhl responded that it was obvious, as everyone had a birthday. When prompted, Kjazhed-Uhl speculated that Vader's first name was Corey. Bob suggested that Vader needed to address his emotions through therapy or a creative outlet, a notion that Kjazhed-Uhl disagreed with. He argued that Vader needed to confront his issues directly, and confessed that he felt a degree of sympathy for the Sith. Shortly after, an alarm sounded, and another stormtrooper informed Bob and Kjazhed-Uhl that Vader had called an emergency meeting. The stormtroopers donned their helmets and attended the meeting, where Vader announced that there was an intruder aboard and that they were to bring the intruder to him immediately upon capture. Following the meeting, one of the stormtroopers approached Vader and quietly wished him a happy birthday, causing him to pause.
Kjazhed-Uhl initially regarded Bob's theft of Vader's diary as foolish, but ultimately agreed to read it after receiving assurances that they would not be caught, deeming it a waste not to. He distinguished between diaries and journals, and found Vader's illustrations to be peculiar. After reading Vader's account of his birthday, Kjazhed-Uhl felt a certain amount of pity for Vader, and suggested that directly confronting his issues could resolve his emotional problems. Kjazhed-Uhl had black balding hair, light skin, and blue eyes.
Kjazhed-Uhl was clad in white stormtrooper armor and armed with a blaster. He consumed a sandwich during his lunch break.
Kjazhed-Uhl made his debut in "Lunch Break," a comic penned and illustrated by Jonathan Adams and featured in the sixteenth edition of Star Wars Tales, released on June 25, 2003.
