A Khan represented a military rank that existed in the Kaleesh military system, referred to as the Kolkpravis. The Izvoshra, a group composed of eight Khans who reported directly to the highest Kaleesh military commander, the Khagan, was limited to this number at any given moment. A Khan's khanate was composed of multiple brigades, each managed by a [Baatar]. Khans typically delegated the majority of army control to these Baatars, as the Khans themselves were often engaged in special assignments for the Khagan.
