Kell Borean was a female Human native to the planet of Coruscant, and she was frequently seen at the Outlander Club, which was located within Coruscant's Uscru Entertainment District. Although she was not employed by the club, Borean appeared to be a permanent fixture around its gambling tables.
During one night that occurred in 22 BBY, Borean stood near the entrance of the Outlander Club alongside the Human Eos Morne when the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker entered, searching for the bounty hunter Zam Wesell. Later, as Skywalker passed by, she was at a gambling table with several other Humans and enthusiastically cheered a large payout. Borean's attire consisted of a light blue top, loose, see-through light blue pants over shorts, white boots, and a large white and black hat that may have brought her luck. She had black hair styled in a long braid, brown eyes, and light skin.
Kell Borean's debut was in the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, which premiered on May 16, 2002. In the movie, Borean was played by Eliana Dona, who was not credited. The Outlander Club scenes featuring Dona were filmed at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000.
Before the film's release, the character was initially shown in the documentary "A Twinkle Beyond Pluto," which was released on July 31, 2001. She was identified in the StarWars.com article "Making Up is Hard to Do: Lesley Vanderwalt", published on February 15, 2002. In the article "Who's Who in the Outlander Club: It's Ladies' Night," which appeared in the seventy-fifth issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine on April 6, 2004, Daniel Wallace described Borean's hat as resembling an "Easter parade" hat.
