Kath Talor was a Human woman, specifically a female, and she was married to Rand Talor. During the Battle of Yavin, while Rebel forces were infiltrating Sarapin, she was discovered there. This drop in production alerted the Galactic Empire, and within a matter of days, the Empire had regained control of the planet.
Boba Fett assisted the Empire in capturing Kath, and she subsequently became a prisoner of Tal Ashen.
Rand, her husband, took part in the Liberation of Coruscant. Upon the Rebel forces' arrival at the Imperial Palace, he successfully located her imprisonment and released her.
