Jonathan Hsu, a mechanical design engineer, held the position of senior mechanical engineer on the Star Wars: Jedi Challenges project. In this role, he collaborated with Seth Davis, the director of product management, and Lenovo, the tech developer and distributor, to create the lightsaber controller used in the game. Hsu's career began at Disney Consumer Products and Interactive as a mechanical design engineer in August 2014. He then advanced to the role of senior mechanical design engineer at Walt Disney Imagineering's Advanced Development Lab in November 2015, where his work included Jedi Challenges. Since January 2019, Hsu's employment with Disney has ended, and he now works as a mechanical engineer at Anduril Industries.
