Jaylon Geissler was a spice merchant of the Bothan species (a male individual) who made his home on Corellia during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
In the time after the Battle of Yavin, Jaylon Geissler held the position of second-in-command to Vuul Sarlin, who headed a spice dealing operation within the city of Kor Vella. Geissler oversaw a warehouse located in Kor Vella; this facility served as the storage point for the ryll distributed throughout the city. The Chirq Council, also known as the Red Circle Gang, supplied the spice, yet Vuul Sarlin, Jaylon Geissler, and their associates deliberately avoided knowing any details about the ryll smugglers' identities.
During 1 ABY, the Corellian Security Force initiated an investigation into the ryll smuggling activities due to the increased spice trade in Kor Vella. A spacer, employed by Lieutenant Cope, questioned Menchi Lerann, a local individual addicted to spice. Lerann revealed that he acquired his ryll from Vuul Sarlin and Jaylon Geissler. Subsequently, the spacer interrogated Geissler, but the spice dealer refused to cooperate. Consequently, the spacer infiltrated the ryll warehouse in Kor Vella, engaged in combat with the guards, and began destroying the spice crates. Jaylon Geissler, with reluctance, provided the current location of Vuul Sarlin: a small encampment situated in the plains just outside Kor Vella. The spacer then apprehended Vuul Sarlin and compelled him to disclose all information he possessed about the ryll smuggling enterprise. Ultimately, the CorSec investigation resulted in the dismantling of the Chirq Council.
