Jarth Findo was a Human of male gender, and he operated as a mercenary throughout the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Born within the Corellian system, Jarth Findo enlisted in the Special Missions Company of the Imperial Army. Following a near-total defeat of his company at the hands of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, Findo made the decision to abandon his post. A unit of stormtroopers pursued him relentlessly, and he narrowly managed to escape capture. Subsequently, Findo founded a small mercenary outfit, establishing their base of operations within the Duro sector. After Findo's mercenaries conducted raids on several New Republic installations, a bounty of 13,500 credits was issued for his capture by the New Republic.
Findo's initial appearance was in the 1993 publication Wanted by Cracken, which served as a sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game created by West End Games. Mike Jackson provided the illustration of Findo, using Jens Hausser as inspiration; however, Jackson expressed frustration that his artwork never quite captured Hausser's likeness.
