Ivhin Jayme was a commando of the male persuasion. He began his military career in the Imperial Army stationed on Merikon. Later, during the Galactic Civil War, he switched allegiances and joined the Rebel Alliance.
Jayme's upbringing was characterized by parental neglect, leaving him without a clear direction in life. Seeking purpose, he enlisted in the Imperial Army. He proved to be a skilled soldier, earning a promotion to staff sergeant within the Imperial Sector Urban Troopers. However, his faith in the military waned after being ordered to destroy a building containing political dissidents, including children. Disillusioned, he deserted and encountered T'Charek Haathi on Rodaj, who persuaded him to join the Rebel Alliance. He initially served with the Urban Commandos but found their strict adherence to Alliance regulations stifling. Subsequently, he was recruited into T'Charek Haathi's Special Ops team.
Jayme accompanied Haathi's team to Zelos II with the mission of acquiring a ship for the Rebel Alliance. After Haathi identified their target ship, they infiltrated a maintenance tower overlooking a starport. Haathi and Dren Nord maintained surveillance while Jayme reprogrammed the backup computers. Leaving the tower, he proceeded towards the forcefield safeguarding the ship. Once Morgan Q. Raventhorn successfully overloaded the main security computer, Jayme utilized an extendable staff to vault over the electrified fence protecting the docking bay. He managed to gain entry before the auxiliary generators activated. Inside, he employed a VoiceBox to manipulate the security systems into deactivation. He then allowed the rest of the team entry into the docking bay and took up a guard position with Dren as Raventhorn worked to bypass the freighter's security. Haathi prematurely attempted to board The Maker but was incapacitated by the stun steps on the entry ramp. When the security guards detected the team's presence in the docking bay, they launched an attack, forcing Jayme to lead the counter-attack. Nord switched his blaster to lethal mode and fired on the security force, and Haathi ordered Jayme to stun him. Before he had to attack his teammate, Haathi ordered everyone to board the freighter. Jayme assisted Haathi onto the ship and to the cockpit, where they found it blocked off by a sealed hatch. He used some detonite tape to blast open the hatch, enabling his commanding officer to start the ship and escape the planet.
Jayme traveled aboard The Maker to Drop Point: Gelgelar alongside Haathi, Dren Nord, and Morgan Q. Raventhorn. Upon landing, he conferred with the commanding officer Arik Stijhl and his aide Maglenna Pendower. Stijhl inquired about the group's supply needs, and Jayme requested medpacs. Their conversation was interrupted by a power outage on the freighter. Jayme accompanied Pendower to the ship's maintenance bay, where they discovered Raventhorn in ventricular fibrillation. Jayme assisted Pendower in resuscitating Raventhorn. After the tech was taken off the ship, Jayme decided to investigate since he did not believe her injuries were caused by an accident.
He ventured beneath the freighter and examined a maintenance tunnel located under the hangar floor. The soldier noticed movement and attempted to pursue it when the warehouse lights went out. Realizing that the assailant had sabotaged the lights and was heading towards the hangar door controls to trap all the Rebel personnel inside, he quickly moved to the override controls. Before he could open the doors, he realized he was being targeted by an assassin droid that had been hiding on his ship. The soldier quickly climbed up a cable chain to the second floor of the warehouse as the Doom Slayer assassin droid chased him. Jayme fired at the droid, but his shots failed to penetrate its shields. Continuing to evade the droid's attacks, he managed to get close enough to shoot it at point-blank range. The droid responded by grabbing him around the ankles with its tentacle arm. He broke through a plastiboard covering an unfinished turbo-lift shaft. Briefly suspended by the droid, Jayme's weight caused the droid to drop him and he fell to the floor of the warehouse. He recovered from the fall and searched around for a weapon to defend himself. He picked up a pair of hull cutters and prepared to face the assassin droid. He was able to destroy the droid with the tool, but realized that the droid had a self-destruct mechanism installed. He met up with Pendower and was able to get her and Raventhorn aboard The Maker before it escaped the explosion caused by the assassin droid.
