The Indrexu Confederation emerged as one of the warring factions in the Tion Cluster following the collapse of Xim the Despot's empire. This occurred approximately one hundred years after his death. Originally known as Far Indrexu, this territory was found during Xim's empire's expansion around 25,100 BBY.
Its existence ceased when the cluster became part of the Republic. Thousands of years later, it was re-established in the same geographical space as the Indrexu sector, after the Galactic Empire divided the Tion Hegemony into several sectors.
Some important planets included Ank Ki'Shor, Janodral Mizar, Estaria, and Endregaad.
