Imperial Repulsortank 1-L

The Imperial Repulsortank 1-L represented a lighter-weight iteration within the broader family of Imperial-class repulsortanks.

Description

Ubrikkian Industries manufactured the 1-L as a more economical version of the Imperial-class repulsortank. Its armament consisted of a single Mark 3/S Medium Blaster Cannon from Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc.. Operation of the 1-L required a crew of two: a driver and a gunner. The tank provided space for two passengers, typically a section sergeant or platoon sergeant major who frequently moved among the unit's tanks; however, it could accommodate up to four passengers in some situations. Mirroring all Imperial-class repulsortanks, the 1-L utilized the standard 20.5-meter chassis, achieving speeds reaching 300 kilometers per hour. Its cargo capacity reached 300 kilograms, with a ground clearance spanning two to three meters. The cost of a 1-L ranged from 40,000 to 50,000 credits.

The vehicle's hull was designed with sloped armor to provide deflection against blaster impacts, and it featured a fully sealed environmental system capable of sustaining occupants for up to 3 standard days with available air and water. Furthermore, the Mark 3/S Medium Blaster Cannon's exceptional range and power allowed a 1-L squad to effectively neutralize enemy armored fighting vehicles (AFVs).
