Imperial HoloNews

Imperial HoloNews was a news outlet that existed during the Age of the Empire. The Galactic Empire was its owner, and it maintained a localized version specifically for the planet Gorse. During the Gorse Conflict, the news channel provided coverage of Count Denetrius Vidian's visit to the Gorse system, while simultaneously concealing his scheme to cause the detonation of the moon Cynda.

During the Gorse Conflict, some of the prominent stories covered by Imperial HoloNews focused on the Emperor. These included the unveiling of an "ambitious plan" to expand the Imperial fleet, the opening of a new veterans' medcenter on Coruscant, and the introduction of a robotic mining initiative for the dayside, which was touted as ushering in a "new era" for Gorse. One headline announced Count Vidian's "star power" contribution to a new industrial inspection tour. Another headline expressed "concern" about "unexplored ordnance" remaining from the Clone Wars. Additional headlines detailed a "hunt under way for missing" individuals after an industrial accident on Cynda, Count Vidian's arrival on Gorse for his inspection tour, which might cause traffic delays, Vidian's "heroic effort" in leading the Mining Guild to stabilize Cynda, and blast investigators who "turn eyes to mining firms." Further reports included tourism industry predictions of a "busy season for travel ahead," the "granted oversight of industrial region" to Baron Danthe, and, lastly, "Vidian's HoloNet site goes dark as disease relapse claims him."
