In the year 3956 BBY, a string of uprisings erupted along the borders of the Sith Empire's domain. Fresh from the Sith Academy located on Dromund Kaas, Lord Scourge was dispatched to assist in quelling these revolts. Through his relentless hunting of rebel leaders and his combat prowess, Scourge successfully suppressed the insurrections. Subsequently, two years later, Scourge made his way back to Dromund Kaas to assist in resolving the assassination attempts targeting the life of Dark Councilor Darth Nyriss.
The initial reference to the Imperial fringe rebellions appeared in The Old Republic: Revan, a novel penned by Drew Karpyshyn and published on November 15, 2011.
