Imperial Entanglements, the fourth premium expansion for Star Wars: The Card Game, was revealed to the public on April 28, 2015, and subsequently launched on October 8, 2015.
The Galactic Empire, a ruthless regime, holds the galaxy in its iron grip. Vast armadas of Star Destroyers and countless Stormtroopers maintain harsh laws, as the Empire engages in slavery and the systematic extermination of its own populace. However, even in the face of such a massive power structure, individuals risk everything daily to scrape together a few more credits and evade the authorities. These independent souls – the galaxy's smugglers and spies – share a common loathing for the Empire's oppressive rule, and they stand ready to defend their liberty, regardless of the seemingly insurmountable odds.
The Imperial Entanglements premium expansion places its emphasis on both the Imperial Navy and the galaxy's Smugglers and Spies. Nonetheless, every affiliation will gain access to new cards, presenting new ways to either challenge tyranny or bolster the strength of the dark side. This expansion introduces twenty-six fresh objective sets (comprising two copies of twelve distinct objective sets, along with a single copy of two "limit one per objective deck" sets). Two entirely new fate cards inject additional drama into your edge conflicts, while formidable characters and vehicles, such as Lando Calrissian and TIE Phantoms, enter the fray to determine the galaxy's destiny.
