During the period of conflict known as the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire operated an Imperial Communications Center. This center was located near the city of Takari, which itself was situated on the planet called Iyuta. General Lens Reekeene of the Alliance to Restore the Republic dispatched Green squad with the objective of installing a listening device beneath the Imperial facility.
Subsequently, Green squad received orders to observe communications emanating from the center. They utilized a prototype long-range scanner/decoder for this purpose. While carrying out this mission, Green squad uncovered the information that Lens Reekeene had fallen into Imperial custody.
