The Hutt Hideout existed as a cave situated on the planet of Tatooine. It functioned as a base of operations for criminals employed by Jabba the Hutt. This cave was positioned to the east of the Mesric Plateau, and also a certain distance to the southeast of Mos Taike.
At some point after 0 BBY, Errik Darksider made a sale, providing the hideout's location to a spacer who had interest in employment with the Hutt. In 1 ABY, this spacer made a visit to the cave, where they acquired a Gamorrean Battleaxe.
