During the Cold War era, Hirosho, a male Human operative, served the Republic Strategic Information Service. His mission involved monitoring the starship used by the apprentice of Darth Baras, acting under the directives of Jedi Master Nomen Karr. This was during the conflict with the resurgent Sith Empire. Ultimately, their operation was compromised.
Nomen Karr, a Jedi Master, learned that Darth Baras had taken on a new apprentice during the Cold War. Hirosho, along with several other Republic troopers and technicians, was tasked with running an orbital listening post. Their objective was to monitor the movements of the apprentice's vessel across the galaxy, even though Karr kept the identity of the person they were tracking a secret.
The covert nature of the listening post was short-lived. Baras uncovered its presence and dispatched his apprentice to shut it down. The Sith Warrior eventually infiltrated the command center. Despite Karr's appeals to spare Hirosho and his team, the apprentice displayed no compassion, resulting in their deaths.
