The vessel initially known as Tsam P'ah, but later christened the Heart of Artorias, functioned as a slaveship for the Yuuzhan Vong. It served as a prison for sentient beings abducted from Artorias and various other worlds. Among those imprisoned on the ship were Nina, Kaye Galfridian, Jenny, and Arbeloa.
Sha'kel held the position of commander of the vessel. However, his command ended when the enslaved individuals staged a revolt, resulting in Sha'kel's death and the slaves gaining control. They subsequently renamed the ship to the Heart of Artorias. Following this takeover, the Heart played a central role in the evacuation efforts during the Battle of Shramar, becoming a focal point for volunteers assisting refugees from Shramar.
