Harson Nild

Harson Nild was a Human male, found in the Legends continuity, who held the position of Director of Core World Operations within the Republic Strategic Information Service. This was during the time of the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Nild, while a junior agent, made a notation in the SIS file pertaining to Doctor Eckard Lokin, mentioning the circulating rumors of the doctor's activities as Fixer Fifteen. Moreover, he dispatched a message to the individual responsible for assisting Ebenga, the Arcona agent, in retrieving the recording device of the Imperial spy Alma on Ord Mantell.

In the year 3640 BBY, Nild supervised an attempt by the SIS to apprehend Cipher Nine, an agent of Imperial Intelligence, during the Battle of Corellia. After an SIS strike force, working together with surviving members of an Imperial terrorist organization, failed to either capture or eliminate the agent, Nild contacted the Cipher via hologram. He communicated that he had instructed all SIS operatives to stand down and extended an offer of surrender to Nine. He gave assurances to Nine that the Republic refrained from employing torture on its prisoners and guaranteed that Nine would eventually be sent back to Imperial territory. The Cipher Agent turned down the offer and detonated a series of explosions within the Military History Museum in order to create the illusion of their death.
