Biography

Mobile Armory

Happy Go Lucky was essentially a mobile armory, rarely observed without a weapon in her possession. She dedicated considerable effort to the maintenance and upkeep of her weaponry, ensuring its optimal functionality through constant adjustments, cleaning, and repairs.

Her role primarily involved supplying firepower, often exceeding the necessary amount, during the pirates' starship heists. She possessed the unique capability to readily provide spare blasters, grenades, or other weaponry to her fellow pirates whenever they required them.

"Trigger" Happy Go Lucky

While Happy Go Lucky maintained amicable relationships with Black Jack and her pirate comrades, she harbored animosity towards nearly everyone else. She displayed particular hostility towards the crews of the vessels she assisted in stealing, frequently resorting to unprovoked attacks on defenseless spacers, accompanied by verbal and physical abuse.

Her inclination to shoot first and forgo questioning proved advantageous in combat situations. Nevertheless, her trigger-happy disposition eventually proved detrimental to her pirate crew.

Ties to the Empire

Following the unexplained disappearance of several smaller New Republic warships, which later resurfaced under Imperial control, the New Republic Intelligence Service began to suspect Black Jack and his pirate gang, including Happy Go Lucky, of collaborating with the Empire. This suspicion was reinforced by corroborating evidence, such as alterations in crew manifests, suspicious individuals associating with the pirates, defective starship systems, and unauthorized modifications to starship hardware. Consequently, the New Republic placed bounties on both Black Jack and Happy Go Lucky.
