Hamma Elad

Hamma Elad was a prominent artist of the female persuasion and a key figure within the Commission for the Protection of the Republic during the Clone Wars. This conflict engulfed the galaxy as a civil war between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Her contributions were recognized with the Chancellor Palpatine award for Clarity in Crisis not once, but thrice. She dedicated time to observing the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic on the aquatic planet Kamino, resulting in the piece known as "Support the Boys in White." This artwork aimed to humanize the clones, but tragically, she met her death in a Separatist assault.

Behind the scenes

Pablo Hidalgo conceived Hamma Elad for the reference publication titled Star Wars Propaganda: A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy, which saw its release in the year 2016.
