Medical Officer Grenvil Taadus served with the Imperial military, specifically on the planet of Bakura. In the course of the Battle of Bakura, Taadus's efforts to rescue Dev Sibwarra were unsuccessful and Sibwarra died. Following the capitulation of the Imperial troops to the combined Alliance and Bakuran armies, Taadus switched his allegiance to the Alliance. Subsequently, he was assigned to the medical frigate known as the Mercy.
