The expansive swamp known as the glop pits existed on the forest moon of Endor, situated between the locations of Bright Tree Village and the thorn forest. This area served as the habitat for the glok monsters and was known for emitting an unpleasant smell. On one occasion, the Ewok young ones, specifically Wicket Wystri Warrick, Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka, Teebo, and Latara, journeyed across the glop pits, where they battled and defeated a glop monster during their mission to save the Ewok shaman, Logray, from the individual known as the Stranger.
