Gandeal, a Planet located within the Core Worlds region, existed as a sister planet to Fondor. Fondor was a heavily fortified world positioned along the Corellian Trade Spine.
The Gandeal-Fondor Hyperlane had Gandeal as one of its termini. The Galactic Empire created this route to facilitate the transport of unprocessed resources from Gandeal to the Fondor Shipyards, and Gandeal served as a control point for bulk freighters.
