Galactic gourmet

Galactic gourmet was a prestigious title for accomplished chefs. Gammy, a Gamorrean – a species more recognized for their combat skills than culinary expertise – remarkably achieved the rank of galactic gourmet. He did so by dedicating multiple years to rigorous training in top-tier restaurants located on the planet of Lamaredd.

Subsequently, Gammy took on the role of cafeteria head chef and home economics teacher at the Jedi academy within the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. This was where Jedi Padawans received instruction from seasoned Jedi Masters. News of his appointment was featured in the school's publication, The Padawan Observer, however, the meals he prepared were generally deemed inedible by the student body.

Production Notes

The term "galactic gourmet" originated in Jedi Academy: Return of the Padawan, a 2014 non-canon book authored by Jeffrey Brown. It is the second installment in the Star Wars: Jedi Academy series of books for children.
