Fungus ale, a typical alcoholic drink, was produced on the planet of Ryloth. Frequently, it was offered as a side with rycrit stew and dishes made with munch-fungus. You could find fungus ale at Mal'aa's Kitchens in Kala'uun Starport.
The Star Wars universe saw its first introduction of fungus ale in Platt's Starport Guide, a Star Wars roleplaying game book. Peter M. Schweighofer authored the book, and West End Games released it in February of 1995.
