Franna, a Human female, belonged to a colony located on a moon that was associated with the Galactic Republic. As the Clone Wars raged on, and understanding that the colony was doomed in the face of an incoming Separatist assault, the majority of the inhabitants fled the moon. Approximately in 20 BBY, some months afterward, Grand Master Yoda undertook a mission to this besieged moon with the aim of rescuing the remaining colonists, one of whom was Franna.
