Firith Olan was a male Twi'lek (regarding gender), whose life unfolded during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Whispers circulated that he knew the whereabouts of Jabba the Hutt's hidden arsenal, supposedly concealed somewhere within the Tatooine desert landscape.

Hailing from a prosperous family on Ryloth, Olan, the family's black sheep, operated as a small-time crimelord. He harbored ambitions of seizing control of the Hutt's criminal network following Jabba the Hutt's demise. Somehow, he had obtained possession of the brain walker containing the brain of Jabba's former majordomo, Bib Fortuna, and relished the fact that Fortuna still possessed valuable insights about Jabba.
To secure the weapons cache, he needed to eliminate Huff Darklighter's operations, as Darklighter had become aware of its existence. Amidst this power struggle, Rogue Squadron was dispatched to verify the cache's existence. Imperial forces were also deployed to recover the cache, located at the place known as Eidolon Base.
Captain Marl Semtin captured Olan and returned him to Ryloth in a ploy to divert the Republic's forces. Semtin later released him to gain the trust of the Twi'leki clan leaders, only to recapture him at Eidolon Base. Before escaping, Semtin stabbed Olan, and Bib Fortuna's brain walker seized the opportunity. Fortuna had been shadowing Olan, awaiting the perfect moment to exact his vengeance. Fortuna then dragged Olan's body to the B'omarr Monks, who performed a brain swap.
Olan was condemned to spend the remainder of his sentient existence within the brain walker, while Fortuna commandeered his body to attempt to reconstruct Jabba's empire. To achieve this, he initiated a relationship with Shiri'ani, the owner and manager of the Lucky Star hotel and casino, and a protégé of Lady Valarian.
