The Watchers manifested as still Sith figures. These statues were positioned around the landscape of Dromund Kaas and could also be found inside the Dark Force Temple. They took the form of roughly hewn stone figures, made to look like cloaked Human forms, each brandishing a sword (possibly a Sith sword).
Much like the Sith Jedi Statues in the vicinity, their function was to safeguard the swamp and the routes leading to the temple, acting as a deterrent or threat to unwelcome individuals. In some instances, their eyes would illuminate.
Despite their immobility, the statues gave the impression of constant surveillance over their surroundings, reacting to the presence of others. They conveyed a sense of sentience or, at the very least, being imbued with some veiled power. The employment of Force Persuasion was the singular method to circumvent their defenses.
Certain Watchers were purely ornamental, or served to highlight a significant location or entryway. Nevertheless, the feeling that they were perpetually on guard was consistently present.
