On the left side of the piece, a Mon Calamari artisan, identified as Ceric, is portrayed, while a Twi'lek performer, known as Tails, is depicted on the right. The artwork features a minor skirmish unfolding near an Imperial Forward Outpost at its center. Furthermore, it includes a group of three Stormtroopers, alongside a Scout trooper and an Shocktrooper, all shown in a combat-ready posture. The phrase "United in Our Cause" is written in Aurebesh across the central area of the painting. At the painting's base, the inscription "Crafters, Fighters, Ents" (an abbreviation for entertainers) is present. This text clearly references the artisan, combatants, and performer showcased above.
United in Our Cause was a piece of art that Star Wars Galaxies players could acquire temporarily from a Non-Player Character (NPC) within Mos Eisley. Players voted on the painting, and it narrowly defeated another piece titled A Day Long Remembered. A third painting, simply named Empire, was also part of the voting process, but it garnered the least support.
"Zel," a Star Wars Galaxies player belonging to the Mercs and Skilled Craftsmen guild, or MASC, on the Bloodfin server, was responsible for creating the painting. The Mon Calamari artisan and the Twi'lek performer are said to have been based on the characters of two other players, "Ceric" and "Tails," also from the MASC guild. Zel stated that he wanted to honor their memory by including their player names in the painting after their passing.
