A Terenta, an ancestor to the Terentateks Terenta were creatures walking on two legs, originating from the Tython system and bio-engineered by the ancient Je'daii Order. Their genesis can be traced back to the era of the Despot War, when the Je'daii designed a being capable of detecting Shikaakwan explosives. Je'daii Master Quan-Jang is credited with being the primary creator. Over time, these Terenta developed a preference for meat imbued with the Force, leading them to hunt down Force users. Subsequently, they were relocated to Bogan, Tython's moon, where they roamed the landscape.
After Xesh was exiled, the disgraced Je'daii Daegen Lok enlisted the Force Hound's help to access his Force vision. Consequently, the two fled the moon, and a sentinel droid probing Xesh's presence was destroyed by a Terenta. The Je'daii then sent a group of their members to investigate, only to be attacked by multiple Terenta; however, the Je'daii prevailed, killing the Terenta in the ensuing battle.
