The planet Makeb had Talaos City as its capital.
Near the original landing location of Republic refugees during the time of the Mandalorian Wars, Talaos City was established. The inhabitants of the planet worked to ensure that the city remained separate from industrial areas. Consequently, Talaos City rose to prominence as the hub of Makeb's financial and technological sectors, as well as the center of the planet's cultural life. The Talaos City Medallion was a reward typically bestowed upon the most respected members of Talaos City.
Talaos City is a location featured in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. It was first seen in the 2013 digital expansion Rise of the Hutt Cartel for the video game.
