A comparison illustrating the differences between Duros and Neimoidians
As a result of living isolated from other Duros for extended periods of time, spanning thousands of years, certain species evolved into what are known as Near-Duros. These evolutions often occurred due to adaptations to differing environmental conditions. The Neimoidians are the most recognizable example of Near-Duros.
In Star Wars (1977) 79, a Duros character with yellow skin was shown, and this character could potentially have been a near-Duros.
